Speakers In Schools

We have free, trained, and experienced volunteers across England, Wales, and Northern Ireland that can help you and your school. Dedicated to providing inspirational speakers to enthuse, motivate and raise aspirations amongst today's students, we work with primary and secondary schools, colleges and universities throughout the UK and abroad, matching them with speakers to support the themes of key talks, workshops and events in their academic calendars.
For those people who are just beginning to learn English or to teach English, I recommend starting with the following verb tenses: Speakers for schools the present simple, the present continuous, the present perfect, the simple past, the future, and the future continuous.

Visits by Principal Investigators, PhD Students or other members of their research teams, to Primary and Secondary schools to give talks on their own research, on more general science & engineering topics, or on careers in science & engineering, are considered particularly valuable exercises that can have enormous impact for the next generation of Irish scientists and engineers.
National Wildlife Federation Speakers Bureau The National Wildlife Federation's conservation work is focused in three major areas: confronting global warming; connecting people with nature by getting them outside; and safeguarding wildlife and restoring wildlife habitat.
For example, English speakers say, "I am sitting at the table where I am drinking a coffee and talking to my friend." Instead, Italians say, "Mi siedo al tavolo dove bevo un café e parlo con mio amico" which literally means: I sit at the table where I drink coffee and talk to my friend.

Getting speakers into schools outside London and the south-east is a particular priority for the charity, Hodges said, adding that a sister organisation, Inspiring the Future , was also keen to hear from architects and designers at all levels willing to give up time to speak in schools to give careers talks locally.
The school started up in 2007 when two ongoing successful programs combined with the support of the Research Action Alliance on the Consequences of Work Injury ( RAACWI ). In Thunder Bay, activist Steve Mantis had created the Injured Workers Speakers Bureau in 2006, using the Toastmasters model, to develop public speaking skills.
